What is CoMeal?
CoMeal is an idea born out of the rising cost of food and the ever increasing need for stronger communities. Homecooks sometimes make too much food, which goes to waste. While others, don't have the time or expertise to cook. CoMeal bridges that gap by providing a marketplace for neighbours to exchange food.
How often will I get emails?
For now, CoMeal will only send emails when batches of new meals are uploaded. You can unsubscribe at anytime.
How can I ensure the quality of the food I buy through CoMeal?
We always try our best to discern quality before uploading meals to our email updates. However, CoMeal does not provide any guarantees or warranties regarding the quality of the food offered by cooks. As a user, you acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to exercise your own discretion and judgment when selecting a meal. The marketplace shall not be held liable for any harm, damages, or losses arising from the quality or consumption of the food purchased through the platform. By subscribing to the newsletter you are consenting to the above terms.
Are meals free?
Some are free and some have a price, this is at the discretion of the cook. All proceeds go to the cook.
How do I get my meals?
By responding to the email with the meal identifier. Meals will be delivered to you at your convenience.
How do I post a meal I've made?
Checkout the second block from the top of the home page and click "upload meal" to fill out a form. All submitted meals then get sent to the mailing list.
